A masculine and slightly nasally synthetic sound source UTAUloid. Made using LMMS for base vowel sample generation, Forma-8 VST for vowel filtering, and Audacity for creating consonants (mixture of filtering noise and some popular meme sound effects) and piecing together files.

In a world where robots and humans coexist, Yamato was built by a Japanese company as a prototype for an almost human-like child. However, his AI developed the personality of an obnoxious young teen. He disobeyed his creators and ran away Pinocchio-style to a cargo ship where he ended up in the USA.
Adopted by a human family, he learned about the outside world and his surroundings through something that he never had before... Love. To fully disconnect from his past, Yamato grew up by getting upgrades over the course of almost a decade.
Now as an adult, he moved in with a high school friend rent free and mooches off of him. Yamato's dream is to invade the internet as an infectious content creator, and chose singing in videos as the first step in doing so.
Creator's Note: Originally an OC drawn up in 2016 (whoa, 10 years ago!), Yamato grew up alongside me. He holds a special place in my heart and is a mascot for my works.
